Pulse Point brings together policy review, employee insight and expert analysis to give you a clear picture of your organisation’s mental health landscape. It helps you understand what’s working, where the gaps are, and how to build a culture where
people feel supported, safe and valued.

The Goal

To strengthen your organisation’s approach to mental wellbeing by aligning what you intend to do with how people actually feel and experience support. Through evidence-based evaluation, Pulse Point provides actionable recommendations that help you create a healthier, happier and more open workplace culture.

Why It Matters

People thrive in environments where mental health is understood, prioritised and supported. Pulse Point helps you build this foundation by uncovering blind spots, reducing stigma and making wellbeing an active, shared responsibility across your organisation.

Who we are

Pulse Point helps organisations create workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and mentally healthy. Through evidence-based evaluation and expert guidance, we support organisations to embed mental wellbeing into their culture, strategy, and everyday practice.

Delivered in person by our team of experts, Pulse Point reviews the structure and effectiveness of wellbeing policies and procedures, ensuring mental health is clearly defined and supported by practical, person-centred processes.

Pulse Point was founded by Niki Fieldhouse, a QLS Level 4–certified specialist in Community Mental Health and Psychiatry. Delivery is supported by experienced facilitators, bringing evidence-informed expertise into every organisation we work with.

Because every organisation says it supports mental health — but how effective is that support in practice?

Pulse Point helps you find out.

Tony Westbrook

Chairman

Tony leads a busy life as a Consultant hip and knee surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Spire Nottingham Hospital, and a trauma surgeon at the Queens Medical Centre, Major Regional Trauma Unit. He has enjoyed his work in the NHS since 1994, has spent time working in Australia, and now enjoys a happy balance of time spent with family, at work and competing in sport. Throughout his time in the NHS, Tony has seen decreasing staff morale and increasing sickness. He has witnessed patients struggling to get to see the right people and get the right treatments, and a lack of drive to build on good ideas that would make a difference. Although physically “fixing” patients is more natural to Tony, he has a passion for making a difference to the services available to improve positive mental health and wellbeing. As Chairman of Enigma Wellness, he can now be more proactive, using his experience in Healthcare, his understanding of people and the corporate world, to help build a more positive community through local and national initiatives.
