So what do you do in your clinic?
Non-surgical injectables aesthetics treatments and high grade skin care.
The goal?
To help patients who realise that this unregulated industry can be a minefield, and underqualified, non-medical pracitioners who called them self “advanced” are working everywhere. I aim to provide a safe, ethical and clinical experience, producing NATURAL looking results. And that is the key. Looking natural.
Combining advice on diet, supplements, skin care and injectable treatments, I approach the face holistically, emphasising there is much more to looking fresh than just injecting some filler or Botox (although it definitely helps!)
How did you get into aesthetics?
I first started training in aesthetics in 2016 at Skinviva Training, one of the UK’s busiest training schools, where I was then taken on as one of the Doctors in the clinic, Skinviva.
I was trained up in all the basic, intermediate and advanced procedures over several months and then began conducting my own clinics there in 2017. I began working as a trainer for Skinviva Training later that year which was a privilege and taught hundreds of delegates how to safely inject over the next few years.
I opened Skinphinity just before the first lockdown in 2020, and my business has seen good growth despite the challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
What makes you stand out?
I am very experienced, I have treated thousands of patients and I offer a bespoke service, at a competitive price. I have a huge focus on safety with all my treatments.
I offer a clinical room with full PPE, use the best premium products, and a personal service where I will respond to all enquiries and any follow up personally.
My prices reflect the experience and my treatments and skills, and hence I will not appeal to those looking for £100 lip fillers.
However, I do feel I am a perfect match for patients nervous about looking false or overdone, or nervous about complications. My other unique skill compared to many other clinics is an ability to treat the whole face holistically, including advanced areas such as temples/forehead/chin/midface- which is absolutely key for keeping things in balance when having dermal filler as you get older.
Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because it makes a positive difference to people’s lives, and I speak here with 100% confidence from seeing thousands of patients over the past few years.
Patients can feel very vulnerable opening up and talking about themselves and what bothers them cosmetically.
Some experience feelings of guilt, inadequacy, fear of looking inferior in the workplace. Fear of being the older partner in a relationship, lack of confidence which has been there since adolescence – these are all examples of the vulnerabilities my patients feel and may open up about when they see me in clinic.
Cosmetic treatments absolutely do make a positive difference in people’s lives, and give people a spring in their step to face whatever challenges they have.
It’s not all about vanity when you dig deeper into people’s lives and stories, and that has been a privilege working as a Doctor in this regard. You can see from some of my reviews that many of my patients talk about their confidence being restored as a recurring theme.
Finally, tell us a little about your personal life…
I live near Delamere Forest in beautiful Cheshire with my lovely wife and 2 boys. I’m very grateful to have several jobs and have such variety in my day to day work.
I was on the England Karate Team and competed internationally at the aged of 17 and won a gold medal in Las Vegas!
I play piano, drums and guitar and have been in numerous bands in Manchester over the years.
I am so fortunate to have travelled the world with my wife. The highlights include spending 10 weeks in remote Nepal in the Himalayas doing medical work. Most recently we managed to take our (then) 1 year old round Japan for 4 weeks.
