Together, We Raised Over £1000 For BBC Children In Need!

Together, Enigma Wellness and Instinct Gym and Wellbeing raised almost £1,200 for Children In Need through a day of fundraising activities.

The Pedal for Pudsey Challenge started the day off with a target of cycling 200 miles within 12 hours. With the determination and effort of the Instinct and Enigma Wellness community, including our CEO Peter George, our goal was achieved with two hours to spare.

The Beat The Trainer Challenge saw Instinct’s personal training team pushed to the limit with a challenge of completing 1000 metres on the bike, 9 lengths with the prowler and 80 slam balls, in the fastest time possible, all while wearing a 20kg weighted vest, as modelled by Rich. Instinct’s Personal Trainers Rich, Sam, Jonny and Chris all took on the challenge, with Rich completing the challenge in 7.17 minutes, Sam in 6.16 minutes, Jonny in 5.15 minutes and Chris in 5.01 minutes.

ACTivate Workshops held an after school Theatre Dance Class in Instinct’s Flow studio and everybody left with a huge smile on their face. The workshop allowed children to have fun and release their inner performer, whilst getting them moving and having fun with one another.

Fuel Coffee House and Kitchen kept everyone going throughout the 12 hour day with delicious Pudsey Cakes and smoothies, as well as the usual delicious salads and sandwiches.

Keeping the cars of Tarporley sparkling clean, the car wash team powered through a day of cleaning cars.

As a community, together we went above and beyond our goal and were in JustGiving’s top 20% fundraisers for the month for our Pedal For Pudsey fundraising page.

This all means that together we can help to support children and young people across the UK to rebuild their lives.
